Every CNY, I find it hard to avoid the unanimous decision by all my younger cousins to make me the "banker" of this little game we call "Bun Lat". Being the oldest one around isn't always an advantage as I soon learned; the hard way, that is. Despite an inexorable string of good fortune at the beginning, I started losing what I won and not to mention much more towards the end to put a smile on the faces of most of my younger cousins that night.
